The project is funded by the European Union within the programme “Support to NGOs active in the field of the fight against corruption”. The total value of the project is € 120.00,00. The project is implemented by PLOD Centre Bihać, Independent office for Development (NBR) Modriča and Association of Entrepreneurs and Business LINK Mostar. The overall objective of the project is to speed up reform of key government institutions (their programs, projects and procedures) and improve their work by active involvement and participation of NGOs (CSOs). Faster reform will lead to decrease of corruption.

The target group:

B&H Council of Ministers (Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations), FB&H Government – two ministries
RS, FB&H and Una-Sana Canton Employment Offices,
3 cantonal governments (responsible ministries),
6 entity and cantonal parliaments,
20 NGOs dealing with development of SMEs and entrepreneurship,
4 municipalities,
FB&H Development Bank.

The final beneficiaries of the Project are SMEs, associations of entrepreneurs, unions and unemployed citizens.

The following activities have been implemented:

common platform to fight corruption in SME and entrepreneurship development sectors of NGOs created and adopted,
over 20 organizations joined the Platform,
2 trainings held for the target groups (“Training on corruption” and “Training on advocacy”),
Conference “Less Corruption, More Jobs” organized and held,
monitoring of policies/programmes started,
media campaign started,
advocacy for changes started,
promotional material created.

The expected results are:

Common platform to fight corruption in SME and entrepreneurship development sectors of NGOs created and adopted,
At least 14 existing policies, programs, procedures (related to SME and entrepreneurship development and including permissions such as urban/construction permission) explored, concrete measures for improvements proposed and monitoring structures created,
Advocacy campaign organized,
Monitoring network developed, changes monitored and public/relevant stakeholders continually informed.
