Specific goals are creation of a milieu for direct participation of citizens in the decision making process at a local community level through strengthening of capacities of the rural population for social inclusion and establishment of durable mechanism of cooperation with local authorities and non-governmental sector; present to the population of the national park the environmental protection standards prescribed by the Law on the National Park Una through encouraging a sense of "local" ownership and responsibility for preservation of natural treasures and resources and support the residents of the national park in the identification of development /business opportunities in accordance with acceptable standards of development with socio-ecological aspects of life in the national park

Results:

• Operational body to coordinate the project successfully planned, coordinated and implemented the planned project activities, based on good cooperation and partnership consultation process with representatives of the population of the national park;
• Through the presentation of the relevant provisions of the Law on the National Park Una and related mechanisms to protect the environment successfully raised the level of knowledge and awareness of the population of the national park on a code of living and acting within the protected zone;
• Population of the national park strengthened the capacity for direct participation in decision-making processes in matters of importance to the local community;
• Citizens of the national park with the idea of starting their own business and representatives of the private sector, already active in the territory of national park, trained to recognize and adjust future business and development opportunities in line with current social and environmental standards;
• The level of individual responsibility to protect nature and natural treasures of National Park Una in visitors and citizens of the national park increased.

• preparation and implementation of public campaigns on "Protection of Nature in and around the National Park Una"
• organization and realization of educational programs
• production and distribution guidelines for the local population
• promotion and visibility of the project
